To blog or not to blog? That is the question.
I like the idea of blogging for many classes. For example, I think blogging would be a great addition in ELA classes for lit. circles. Students could see what students in different sections thought of the same book. It also is way for students to feel that their work is being shared with a larger audience, not just an assignment to complete for a teacher.
I have been thinking about how blogging could be beneficial in my classroom. Because I teach beginning level courses, I was considering maybe adding current event articles that are relevant to the target language and having students post their opinions on a blog. Or possibly writing cultural differences as posts and students publish their opinions. This is just an initial thought.

Nat -
I love the idea for ELA classes - what a great way to create a sense of community with students from across sections and possibliy teams.
How about blogging in French?
I was thinking of asking the district for the ok to do a summer reading blog - would you be interested in something like that?
